Design Process

User Research

There was a lack of current perspectives in the space I was designing for. As a designer, I pushed to do research to gain confidence and mitigate the gap.

From conducting 80+ survey responses and 10 interviews, I noticed young individuals who lacked knowledge to effectively manage their finances / wishing to improve this skill set.

Users found this helpful in knowing exactly where all of their recs are.

With all of their friends in designated groups, users found it easy to know exactly who to ask for help with very specific needs. Even if they don't have a direct connection, they are able to ask in the micro-communities for leads
